Reading

Reading has been one of the really important thing in my life. I was about 12 when I joined my first Library in Center Road, Bentleigh a suburb in Melbourne. This was a private shop front library and I can remember my happiness in choosing my own books to borrow. I think this was the first time I had found a book by Georgette Heyer. I continued to read and re-read her books over the next twenty years. Once I found a public library my pleasure was assured, a stack of books to choose from to give me hours of pleasure.
